Hip-Hop is the biggest genre of music on the planet right now. Bringing fans from every part of the globe. When you mix hip hop with football you get an ultimate experience with an unforgettable halftime show. The Super Bowl is NOT a cheap experience. Many rappers pull up to the big game but find out the cost of tickets and a suite is a bit costly.

One artist who was adamant about attending the Super Bowl was Los Angeles based rapper – SKG , born Helecia Choyce.

“I’ve never really been to a super bowl game to where I was in the stands and enjoying the game and festivities. I wanted to enjoy the experience, especially the halftime show. Even when I seen the ticket prices was $6,000 each I was like well I don’t want to go by myself, so I bought two tickets and took a friend”. said rapper SKG. “It was a great experience and I would definitely do it again”.

The highly-anticipated Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show marked Hip-Hop’s first takeover of the Super Bowl. Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and 50 cent brought their epic star-power to the biggest sporting event of the year; and fans were eagerly anticipating all the surprise guests and songs.

Hip-hop only began to feature in the halftime show 20 years ago, when Nelly joined Aerosmith in 2001 to throw down on “Walk This Way.” Aerosmith were the headliners—the first rock band ever to headline—but for them, Nelly stole the show.

Bringing the Super Bowl back to the West was a victory for the rams, performers and attendees. It was a celebration of West Coast rap history at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, in a battle between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals.

SKG is a Los Angeles-based female rapper, songwriter, and film producer born Helecia Choyce, better known as SKG. Receiving her plaques for previous work at the Legendary “Death Row Records”.
